Penangites as always came out in droves to welcome us at the Queensbay Mall. The road show itself was a resounding success by all standards, with over five hundred people signing up as KLWMBC FRENZ members.. Our crew was kept busy attending to the thousands that came to the KLWMBC road show.

Saturday, 5 April 2008 marks the launch of KLWMBC 2008. The launch of KLWMBC 2008 was graced by the Minister of Tourism, Yang Berhormat Dato' Sri Azalina Binti Dato' Othman Said at The Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur.
It was estimated that more than 1,000 people turned up to witness the launch ceremony.
Tourism Ministry May Bring KL World Marching Band To JB, Penang, Melaka
KUALA LUMPUR, April 5 (Bernama) -- The Tourism Ministry is weighing suggestions that the Kuala Lumpur World Marching Band Competition (KLWMBC) be held in other cities in the country too.
The minister, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said said the ministry has received positive feedback on the idea, from the organiser as well as the participants.
